Response to COVID-19

Dear OMNI Clients and friends:

We know that during times of uncertainty and fear there are also increases in anxiety, depression and substance abuse throughout our communities. With over 50 years of reliable service to young people and their families, OMNI will continue be here for those who need us. OMNI is committed to providing counseling and supportive services, especially in times of challenge. In response to recommendations for social distancing by the CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health, effective Wednesday, March 18th OMNI’s counseling services will be delivered remotely via phone or computer. Counselors will connect with all clients to help them through this new way of receiving services. OMNI staff are working remotely and will respond to emails and voicemail. We continue to monitor recommendations from the CDC and our local health authorities daily and evaluate how to best maintain critical services while keeping the safety of our clients, staff and community our highest priority.  Please follow our social media accounts for community resources and suggestions for ways to deal with the current situation. Together we will get through this.
